Another Big Strick Classic alum makes his college decision and it’s Fordham!

This decision shocked us all. He had offers from Florida, Pittsburgh and West Virginia among many other basketball powerhouses but chose to stay close to home and play at Fordham University.

Archie Goodwin to Enter NBA Draft.

Big Strick Classic alum Archie Goodwin is leaving the University of Kentucky and entering his name in the NBA draft. He will be the first of many. Archie holds the scoring record for the Big Strick Classic with 44 points. He was the leading scorer for Kentucky scoring 14.1 points a game on 44% shooting.

Chris McCullough commits to Syracuse

Syracuse received its fourth verbal commitment in the last month and a half, Chris McCullough, a 6-8 power forward from the Bronx, N.Y., became the first from class of 2014 to give a verbal pledge to the soon to be ACC school. From the Post-Standard: “Chris McCullough, one of the top high school juniors in the country, visited Syracuse University back in August. After taking a few months to ponder his decision, McCullough cut his recruitment short on Monday. He committed to Syracuse in a telephone call with SU coach Jim Boeheim. “When I was on their campus, I felt I was at home already,” McCullough said Monday. “They showed me the most love. I felt like I fit in there.” McCullough is one of the highest-rated players in the Class of 2014. He’s ranked 9th by Scout.com, 10th by CBSsports.com and 17th by ESPN.com.

Jordan Mickey makes his college decision, chooses LSU

The staff here at the Big Strick Classic we call him the “Heart-Breaker” for his incredible game saving last second blocked shot that sealed the win for the USA team over the NYC team in this years Big Strick Classic game. The four star talent is from a good family and he’ll make a great addition to the LSU Tiger family. We congratulate him and his family for this monumental achievement.

The Harrison twins are the biggest get in the class of 2013. They are the #1 Point Guard (Andrew) and the #1 Shooting Guard (Arron) in the country. We had the privileged to have them showcase their skill in the Big Strick Classic.
