Syracuse received its fourth verbal commitment in the last month and a half, Chris McCullough, a 6-8 power forward from the Bronx, N.Y., became the first from class of 2014 to give a verbal pledge to the soon to be ACC school. From the Post-Standard: “Chris McCullough, one of the top high school juniors in the country, visited Syracuse University back in August. After taking a few months to ponder his decision, McCullough cut his recruitment short on Monday. He committed to Syracuse in a telephone call with SU coach Jim Boeheim. “When I was on their campus, I felt I was at home already,” McCullough said Monday. “They showed me the most love. I felt like I fit in there.” McCullough is one of the highest-rated players in the Class of 2014. He’s ranked 9th by Scout.com, 10th by CBSsports.com and 17th by ESPN.com.
